    The Creative Guy

Midair Studio features the artistic talents of Peter Rashford.

I began working in art at an early age. My mother created art and passed interest in the arts onto her son. She introduced and encouraged artistic skills. In college I majored in advertising design and production then pursued a BFA in illustration at Syracuse University. Since then I have applied creative talents to a wide variety of projects. Creative energy is cyclical so I have discovered it is difficult to create just art day after day so I pursued other activities. That work style is well suited to my interests plus is a good use of my skills.

My art, illustration, and graphic design is created by hand and digitally. Many projects start on the drawing board and are polished with the computer. Children's book images are most intriguing and could power book sales and much more. I've spent many years working with offset, screen, and large format printers so your print project will need no more work when it's sent for finishing.

The video production department has expanded to three professional HD video cameras with remote control pan and tilt capabilties. That allows me to produce a multiple camera shoot and live stream by myself. My green screen techniques could place you the actor in any situation! The video drone will present a birds eye view of the environment. Add editing, animation, and special effects to complete your video project.

I began woodworking at the age of seven. I enjoy building things so became attracted to making murals, signs, and props. I work with wood, metal, and more; sawing, welding, painting, and assembling. Great satisfaction comes from completing these projects.

I am enough of an artist to draw freely upon my imagination. Imagination is more important than knowledge. Knowledge is limited. Imagination encircles the world. - Albert Einstein

Fine art is very difficult to display properly through the net and the onlne art gallery. All monitors display images differently. There are very subtle differences in colors, contrast, and texture in my art. Many works have small details that can't be seen on a small display image. If you like what you see on the screen you will love the image when viewed in person!
